Trade terms we quote

EXW	Goods collected from our facility. You control the forwarder and all export formalities. Lowest unit price, most work for you.
FOB	We deliver to the named port and handle export clearance. You control ocean freight and insurance. The most common choice for experienced importers.
CIF	We cover freight and insurance to your named port of discharge. You handle import clearance, duties and inland delivery.
DDP	Delivered duty paid to your address. We handle freight, insurance, import clearance and duties to most major markets.

Incoterms® 2020 rules apply. We can quote the same goods under two different terms so you can compare against your own forwarder's rate.

Indicative lead times

Production time and transit time are separate. The clock below starts after sample approval, deposit and packaging confirmation.

Transit estimates exclude customs clearance and are indicative only. Actual schedules are confirmed on the proforma invoice.

Packing & Documentation

What ships with your goods

Packing data	Carton dimensions, gross and net weight, units per carton and container load (20GP / 40GP / 40HQ) stated on the proforma invoice.
Export documents	Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any FTA form applicable to your market (e.g. Form E where eligible).
Product documents	Test reports and declarations of conformity provided per shipment where required.
Markings	Shipping marks, barcode labels and FBA prep applied to your specification when agreed before production.

Where our responsibility ends

Who is responsible for customs duties?

Under EXW, FOB and CIF, import duties, taxes and clearance are yours. Under DDP they are included in our price. Your quotation states which applies.

What if the shipment is delayed by customs?

We supply complete and accurate documentation to minimise clearance delays. Delays caused by the importing authority, or by incorrect consignee information, fall outside our control.

Do you insure shipments?

CIF and DDP quotations include marine insurance. For EXW and FOB we recommend you arrange your own cover — we can quote it as an add-on.

Can I use my own forwarder?

Yes, on EXW and FOB terms. Provide their contact details and we will coordinate collection and export documentation.
